A stylized Jouve marquetry tiger in figured mahogany, black bolivar, with an emerald bird’s eye maple eye, pink tay tongue and mother of pearl teeth prowls across a bog oak horizon, grounded on darker bog oak (darkening beneath the bog after 5000 years in contact with the earth’s tannins) the timber lightening towards the cabinet’s top, echoed on the inside the cabinet. The doors open by touch; adjustable height bog oak shelving. Hand rubbed high gloss lacquer finish.
