A meditation on the Arctic’s disappearing glaciers. Black bolivar inlaid with sequenced strings of ascending/descending mother-of-pearl droplets, with a secondary top in icy blue ripple sycamore. The top, alluding to ice, is gloss finished, the cabinet finished in hand rubbed satin lacquer, with marquetry ‘raindrops’ on the interior and exterior door, sides and back. Door opens by touch; adjustable height shelf. Edition of 6 + 1AP.
