Artist Jacopo Foggini heats methacrylate to volcanic temperatures to create thick, colorful threads, employing a machine of his own invention. Then, he molds these threads by hand into lit artworks. Foggini is inspired by the hand-blown glass of his native Italy, and each piece is a nod to childhood and a playful innocence embodied by the lightness of his works.
