Inspired by Italian physicist Carlo Rovelli’s book Seven Brief Lessons on Physics, a cocktail cabinet to dream on. A cosmos of mother of pearl stars and planets is inlaid in assymetrical silvery blue ripple sycamore doors which open via concealed handles; lit by dimmable LED lighting, profiled adjustable height shelving rest on traditionally made sawtooth supports. The inside doors are fitted with brass rails; the cabinet is set on a brass plinth. Polished stainless steel back panel, three drawers which open by touch featuring Irish goatskin vellum drawer bottoms, mother of pearl-inlaid tray with brass handles; the name of the cabinet is inscribed in gold letraset on one of the chamfered shelves.
