The inlays of our glass, engraved by skilled craftsmen with the stone grinding technique and subsequently embellished with gold or platinum fixed at high temperature, are freely inspired by the rich embroidery of baroque clothing; as evidenced by the painting of the noble character immortalized by the Lombard painter Fra Galgario around 1715, now preserved in the Pinacoteca di Brera in Milan.
